Privacy Policy
Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over your information when using Simplex Peptides.
Your Data Is Safe With Us
We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. Data is used solely to fulfil your orders and improve your experience on our website.
Section 01
Information We Collect
At Simplex Peptides, we collect only what we genuinely need to serve you well. When you place an order, create an account, or reach out to our support team, you provide us with information such as your name, email address, shipping and billing address, and payment method details. Every piece of information you share is treated with the same care we apply to our products — precisely and with purpose.
Our website automatically collects standard technical data during your visit — things like your browser type, device, and pages viewed. This anonymised data helps us improve our site experience and ensure our platform runs smoothly for everyone. We use reputable analytics providers for this purpose and do not use this data to identify you individually.
We never store full payment card details on our servers. All payment processing is handled by PCI-DSS compliant third-party providers with industry-leading security infrastructure. Your financial data is simply never within our reach — and that is exactly how we want it.
Section 02
How We Use Your Information
Your data works for you — not for us. We use the information you provide exclusively to fulfil your orders, keep you updated on dispatch and delivery, respond to your queries, and maintain your account. That is the entire scope of how your personal data is used in day-to-day operations.
We may, with your explicit consent, send occasional emails about new products, research updates, or exclusive offers. These communications are always opt-in, never assumed. Every marketing email includes a clear, one-click unsubscribe option that works immediately. We respect your inbox as much as we respect your privacy.
We use anonymised, aggregated analytics to understand how customers navigate our site and which products attract the most research interest. This helps us build a better experience for the scientific community. It tells us nothing about you individually — and we prefer it that way.
Section 03
Information Sharing & Disclosure
Let us be unambiguous: we do not sell, rent, lease, or trade your personal information to any third party — ever. Not to advertisers. Not to data brokers. Not to research firms. Your data is not a product. It is a responsibility.
We work with a small number of carefully selected service providers who help us operate our business — shipping carriers to deliver your order, payment processors to handle transactions securely, and email platforms for transactional communications. Each of these partners is contractually bound to process your data only as directed by us, in compliance with applicable data protection law. We do not grant them permission to use your information for their own purposes.
We will disclose personal information only when legally required to do so — for example, in response to a valid court order or regulatory request. Even then, we will notify you where legally permitted and take reasonable steps to challenge requests we believe are overreaching.
Section 04
Data Security
Data security is not a checkbox for us — it is an ongoing investment. Our website is protected by TLS encryption, meaning every piece of data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted and unreadable to any third party. We conduct regular security reviews and apply software patches promptly to address any vulnerabilities.
Access to customer data within our organisation is strictly role-based. Only staff members who genuinely need access to personal data — such as fulfilment and support teams — can view it, and only within systems designed for that specific purpose. All team members with data access undergo data protection training and are bound by confidentiality obligations.
We are honest enough to acknowledge that no internet-based system can offer a 100% security guarantee. What we can promise is that we apply every practical and proportionate measure available to protect your information — and that we would notify you promptly and transparently in the event of any breach affecting your data.
Section 06
Data Retention
We believe in keeping only what we need, for only as long as we need it. Your order and account data is retained for up to 7 years in line with standard financial record-keeping requirements — a legal obligation for any legitimate business. Beyond this period, data is securely deleted.
If you close your account or submit a data deletion request, we will remove your personal information from all active systems within 30 days and confirm the deletion in writing. Where legal obligations require us to retain certain records temporarily, we will explain clearly what is being retained and why. We do not use legal obligations as an excuse to hold onto data longer than genuinely necessary.
Section 07
Your Privacy Rights
Your data belongs to you — and we take that seriously. Regardless of where you are in the world, we extend the following rights to every Simplex Peptides customer: the right to access the data we hold about you; the right to correct any inaccuracies; the right to request deletion of your data; the right to restrict or object to how we process it; and the right to receive your data in a portable format.
We do not hide behind legal technicalities when it comes to privacy rights. If you make a request, we will acknowledge it promptly and fulfil it within 30 days. If we cannot fulfil a request in full — for example, where legal retention obligations apply — we will explain the reason clearly and honestly. We will never dismiss a legitimate privacy request without explanation.
To exercise any of your rights, email privacy@simplexpeptides.com with a brief description of your request and the email address on your account. You will not receive an automated brush-off — we respond to every message personally.
Section 08
Third-Party Links
Our website occasionally links to external resources — published research papers, scientific databases, partner organisations, and reference materials that we believe are valuable to the research community. These links are curated with care but do not constitute a formal endorsement of the linked site or its content.
Once you leave our website, our Privacy Policy no longer applies. We have no visibility into or control over the privacy practices of third-party sites and encourage you to review their policies independently. If you ever encounter a link on our site that directs you to something unexpected, please report it to us immediately.
Section 09
Account Deletion & Data Removal
Your account is yours to manage. If you wish to close your Simplex Peptides account and have your data removed, simply email privacy@simplexpeptides.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and the email address on your account. No lengthy forms, no bureaucratic delays, and no attempts to talk you out of it.
We will process your deletion request within 30 days and confirm in writing when it is complete. Where legal obligations require us to retain specific records beyond that point, we will tell you exactly what is retained, why, and for how long. The rest is permanently deleted. We do not archive inactive accounts indefinitely or retain data just in case.
Section 10
Changes to This Policy
Privacy law evolves. Technology evolves. Our business evolves. When any of these changes affect how we handle your data, we update this policy to reflect the new reality — clearly and promptly. We do not make silent changes that shift the goalposts on your privacy without notice.
For any material change — such as a new type of data collection, a new third-party processor, or a significant change to how long we retain data — we will notify account holders by email before the change takes effect. Minor updates, such as clarifying existing language, will be reflected with a revised date at the top of this page. We believe you have a right to know what has changed and why.
Section 11
Contact & Data Enquiries
Privacy matters — and so do your questions. If anything in this policy is unclear, if you want to understand more about how we use a specific piece of data, or if you have a concern you want to raise, we genuinely want to hear from you. Our privacy team is made up of real people who take data protection seriously and will engage with your enquiry thoughtfully.
Contact us at privacy@simplexpeptides.com for all data-related matters. For general account or order support, reach us at support@simplexpeptides.com. We respond to every message personally — typically within 1 business day — and we will never dismiss a genuine concern without a proper response.
This Privacy Policy was last updated in January 2025. Simplex Peptides reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. For any questions, contact us at privacy@simplexpeptides.com.
